The Group game between the Cougars and the Tigers (29 Nov 2009) turned out to be a classic.

It was cut and thrust throughout and eventually ended 30-29 in favor of the Cougars - making the Cougars the first (and only) WABL team to defeat the Tigers in the Under 13 category in any competition in 2009.

Game: 9 Aug 09 vs Mandurah Magic

Couple of points:

• I have the Cougars at 62 points although the website says it is 61 - I think they forgot to count a Free Throw by Calvin
• I have the Magic at 47 points although the website says it is 49.
• I have used #13 for Isaac even though he was using the #10 shirt.

Some obervations:

• 1Q was the difference between the teams. For the rest of the game the scoring was actually quite even.
• 60 rebounds - highest so far. We had 49 against Mandurah in the previous game
• 33 turnovers - highest so far also ! We had 19 against them in the previous game. This seems to indicate that the team's defence and passing could be tightened up.

Well, this was certainly a good and needed win. Hopefully a springboard for the last 2 games!
